I had the opportunity to test another great pattern from Pattern Emporium! The Besties Tee is part of a double release with the Yours Truly Flounce Tank. Both can be great staples for your closet.
I’ve been trying to add to my cold weather wardrobe, and this tee was a great addition! The bodice is flared with three lengths: cropped, regular, and long. I chose to sew up the long tee. The waist can also be banded or hemmed-I left mine hemmed for a flowy look.
There are SIX necklines to really make this tee stand out! I chose the mid-rounded neckline. The pattern comes with a v-neck, 3 rounded, and 2 square necklines.
Sleeve options are also plentiful with this top! There are two sleeveless options: wide or cutaway, and five sleeve options: flounce, cap, short, 3/4, and long. I went with the long sleeves on both of mine. The sleeves are finished with a hem.
Both of these tops are made with Double Brushed Polyester from Bow Button Fabrics. I think I might make one with bamboo jersey next!
These tops look great with jeans, but since I work from home and only leave to go to the grocery store, I’ve been wearing these with joggers with the front tucked a bit. So cute and comfy!
